As a girl who likes girls, it was enjoyable for me to read a book by someone who understands our dynamics so well and narrates them accordingly. I'd planned to make much progress as to several business projects today but my self-control was inadequate to resist the draw of the book. I read the the entire book in one day. In retrospect, I like how it combines insights into our thinking and our sexuality, how it describes good times and bad times. On a personal note: I'm openly polyamorous. On the surface it seems to be a complex and difficult way to live, but I always find it morbidly intriguing how difficult and painful things can get when a couple claims to be monogamous and then isn't. This book vividly illustrates several examples of this. If everyone in the book had been openly polyamorous then as I understand the story, the major conflicts in the book would have been preempted -- or greatly reduced, anyway -- as the dynamics would then have scaled up or down gradually instead of being an "only one winner, and the winner takes all" sort of thing.
In general, I kept thinking "what would I have done" were I in the position of the various nice girls who are the main characters in the story. It made the ending exceptionally satisfying to me. The thought process this triggered also had me re-examining my approach to life, love and relationships -- so as it turns out, it was a day well-spent.

I couldn't put this one down, it's a romance & a thriller all rolled into lesbian erotica!!! This is a must read!!
This book was so much fun to read. Every book needs a twist, and the twist in this one was worth the wait! I'd really like to see more from this author and would love to learn more about the characters. Worth the read for sure!
First, I thought the story was good. The writing got better....BUT when I pay $7.99 for an E-book I do not expect a lot of editing errors or lack of proper editing. Personally, I probably will not not buy another book from this publisher because of it. It's not the first book that I've read from this publisher that needs a good editor. The writer has potential and if it were more moderately priced like most self published writers it might not be such a big deal. The story itself kind of went all over. A bit much for me but that's my issue. Hire an editor and find some good beta readers. Most of the errors were easy to find. I usually overlook them but there were too many to overlook.
Helen has lost everything. Now all she wants is a normal life. On a lovely island she meets a dark-haired stranger. Kathy has enough going on in her life. She couldn't let anyone get close again. For both women the island has become an escape and a new beginning. This journey with Helen and Kathy was crazy and emotional. There were so many twists and turns I was not expecting. This book is definitely a page turner. I quickly became captivated with this exciting and touching story. It will keep you on the edge of your seat. The characters are real and well developed. It feels as if I know each of them personally. I really got attached to them. This is a story about love, lost, betrayal, secrets, hurt, anger, violence and is full of surprises. If you haven't read this book, I totally recommend that you do.
The overall story would be great if it weren't for 3 factors for me...1) poor editing, not the worst I've seen but enough to make me notice several throughout the book, and 2) there were parts that were glossed over where I felt the author should have showed me instead of telling me (would have liked to read the conversation where they hash out Andrea), and this also leads into 3) instant love that makes all worries non-existent and no mention of even a gloss over of them.
